About me

- A little backstory sprinkled with some fun facts

Although my speciality is in marketing and sales, it’s far from all there is to say about my background. I’ve done 2 semesters in mechanical engineering at DTU and I’ve done 3 semesters in Nano science at KU, where I co-authored and published the article “Production of nanomaterial through ionic self-assembly and spin casting”.

I have always been a nerd, interested in how things work and keeping an eye on new technologies, but it wasn’t until I invoked on my studies at Copenhagen Business Academy I found my passion for building businesses. After my degree in Service Economics with a major in Digital Marketing, I started moving in to the tech and entrepreneurial space, working as a talent scout and lead generator for an app agency, as well as freelance SEO consultant.

I don’t do well if I feel like I’m not moving forward, so a lot of my sparetime has been spent with some extra education, some of witch has resulted in some extra certifications.

I’m a marketeer

I have several years of experience with business development and leading 360-marketing strategies and go-to-market plans for start up and scale up companies.

I like to focus on brandawareness and -identity, social- and behavioral marketing in both B2C and B2B.

My approach to marketing is very human-centered, while data is a big part of optimizing a good campaign, I believe that a good understanding of human behavioral psychology, trends and culture is crucial for getting off to a good start and ultimately creating the best campaign and customer experience with fewer iterations.

Understanding things like mental models, cognitive overload, social proof and gamification, are what takes a campaign from good to truly great and memorable.

In the past few years I have worked a lot with UI/UX in app development, which has given me a really interesting insight to user journeys. This is something I have found very usefull in marketing, as a omnichannel campaign needs to be thought-out at every touchpoint in order to optimize acqusition and ROI.

Curiosity is a big part of my personality and I love diving into technical details - about relevant stuff as much as irrelevant. Ever since I was a young lad, phography has been my passion and I have travelled the world with my camera capturing the awesome, the beautifull and the mondane. This sparked my interest in visual promotion and started my journy in digital marketing back in 2017.

Outside of work, I have since 2016 coached and been a member of the board at AK Hermod Wrestling club and in more recent years, I have taken on mountain biking in the forest. I live in Copenhagen with my neuroscientist wife, our goofy golden retriever and beautiful little daughter.
